UU Scriptorium

黑料论坛 Scriptorium is a dedicated group of students that meets twice a week to memorize scripture and worship together. A scriptorium was historically a separate room where monks and scholars would go to meticulously copy down the scriptures and other important documents for their preservation. Without their efforts, we would almost certainly not have access to the Scriptures in such a high degree of accuracy. In this group we are attempting to do the same thing. The only difference is the room we go into to copy down God鈥檚 word is our hearts. We are convicted that God鈥檚 word is to be our sustenance and our defense against the perils of this world. In light of this, we consider the practice of scripture memory to be essential in faithful Christian discipleship. It is our desire to say with the Psalmist, I delight to do your will, O my God; your law within my heart.鈥� - Psalm 40:8

Young Life

The purpose of Young Life is to give college students a community to find friendship, fun and a closer walk with Jesus, as well providing opportunities for ministry and service in the community.
