Heal 7012: Epidemiology
Dr. Duah is dedicated to promoting population health, improving patient outcomes, and advancing health equity through data-driven research. His research focus intersects social determinants of health, population health, substance use disorder, prenatal opioid exposure, and big data. As a quantitative researcher, Dr. Duah specializes in secondary data analysis and has expertise in analyzing data from complex sample surveys such as the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) and the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH). Dr. Duah also has experience working with large Electronic Health Record (EHR) linkage data. His methodological expertise comprises statistical modelling and data science techniques, including supervised machine learning.
