Mission, Vision and Goals
Mission
The mission of the ºÚÁÏÂÛ̳ Career Center is to empower undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni to engage in ongoing career discernment, supporting their pursuit of lives of meaning and purpose. All of this is done in collaboration with campus and community partners, employers, and alumni.
Vision
The ºÚÁÏÂÛ̳ Career Center envisions a ºÚÁÏÂÛ̳ community dedicated to collaborative, proactive approaches to the ongoing professional formation of undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni. Aspiring to lead innovative career development, we aim for deep engagement with alumni and the surrounding community to support student success. Central to this vision is our commitment to ensuring equitable access to career education, exploration, and opportunities, empowering all students and alumni to Be the Difference. 
Strategic Plan
In alignment with the ºÚÁÏÂÛ̳ Career Center Mission and Vision, as well as the ºÚÁÏÂÛ̳ Strategic Plan 2031, the Career Center commits to:
Thriving Students
- Drive campus culture of equitable career education for all students through campus partner collaborations and student engagement in career development
- Facilitate development of a structure for students to more easily discover and engage in experiential education
- Ensure students consider occupational wellness as a part of overall wellness as they prepare for life after ºÚÁÏÂÛ̳
Healthy Campus
- Work as a team to create an environment within the Career Center, the Lemonis Center for Student Success, and throughout the entire campus that prioritizes collaborative, meaningful work with attention to genuine respect for each person’s unique characteristics and contributions
- Promote a culture of alumni engagement in career programming to enhance student career education
- Champion the inclusion of career education in all ºÚÁÏÂÛ̳ curriculum
Care for the World
- Empower students to explore career possibilities that align with and deepen their understanding of their sense of meaning and purpose in the workplace
- Expand strategic employer partnerships and employer connections with students to maximize opportunities for students and graduates to contribute to the world through meaningful internships and full-time employment
