Exercise Science

Jennifer graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology (Athletic Training) and continued her education at the University of Illinois, where she received her Master of Science in Kinesiology. While at the University of Illinois, Jennifer worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer and teaching assistant. She earned her PhD in Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she studied the biopsychosocial aspects of patellofemoral pain. Jennifer has an extensive clinical background, working with patients in the collegiate and clinical settings. She also has over 20 years of experience as an athletic training educator. Her research interests include biomechanics associated with chronic musculoskeletal conditions and movement retraining in rehabilitation. Jennifer is also very active with the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers' Association, serving as co-chair for the Continuing Education Committee.
