Research Interests

Capone (he/him) is a proud Vermonter, avid hiker, amateur musician, and not-so recent transplant to the Midwest. He developed research interests in philosophy of mind, aesthetics, and queer theory at Loyola University Chicago where he wrote his dissertation on musical definitions and aesthetic embodiment. Currently, his research investigates the role of embodiment in the social dimensions of music and other performative aesthetic practices.

Office Hours

Tuesdays 12:30 PM – 2:10 PM in-person in MH 429)
Thursdays (virtual, via Teams appointment).
