ACADEMY OF SCIENCE APPOINTS WOFFORD AS JOURNAL EDITOR
Jackson, Tenn. — ºÚÁÏÂÛ̳'s Wayne Wofford has been named the managing editor of the Journal of the Tennessee Academy of Science.
The Tennessee Academy of Science is a state-wide organization dedicated to providing a forum for science education and research in Tennessee. The journal is distributed to all members of the society.
Wofford will be involved in coordinating the distribution of manuscripts to regional editors for peer review, editing the proceedings for annual meetings, managing the budget and submitting all materials for publication and distribution of the journal to members.
Wofford joined the Union faculty in 1987, and serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology.
