LINDEN NATIVE ELECTED TSNA VICE PRESIDENT

Jackson, Tenn. -- Linden native Chris McNatt, a senior at Union University, was elected vice president of the Tennessee Student Nurses Association during the fall 1996 convention Nov. 15-17 in Nashville, Tenn.

According to Carla Sanderson, Tennessee Nurses Association vice president and dean of ºÚÁÏÂÛ̳'s School of Nursing, state officers of the TSNA play a critical role in the future of the nursing profession. "They have a place at the table for discussion that directly affects the future of their profession," Sanderson said.

While at Union, McNatt has been involved with the National Student Nurses Association since 1995 and has served as the West Tennessee regional director for the Tennessee Association of Student Nurses.

McNatt is the son of Charles and Marelle Mitchell, Linden and is a double major in nursing and psychology.
