History: Rev. Andre Coindre founded the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in France, 1821, who self-identify with the post-nominal initials, “S.C.” They made its first U.S. foundation, 1847, and through their United States Province, the Brothers of the Sacred Heart have evangelized Native Americans through the following institutions.

1903-1930s (No longer Native)	St. Joseph/ Nazareth College/ Academy (Creek), Muskogee, Oklahoma
1990s-present	St. Anne Mission (Navajo), Klagetoh, Navajo Nation, Arizona
