Although printing is not necessary, it can be helpful for the following circumstances:

  • Accessibility or accomodations - making sure all students can access the quiz in a format that works for them.
  • Testing in a controlled setting - providing a paper copy for in-person or proctored exams.
  • Grading - if you prefer to review or mark answers on paper.

To  print a quiz, navigate to Assessments > Quizzes and select Print from the drop-down menu of the quiz or exam.

  1. Randomization: If shuffle questions at the quiz level is checked, enter the number of versions on the right-hand side of the page. Select the tabs at the top of the page for the version you would like, then select the blue button to print that version.
  2. Formatting: Choose to include or exclude a field for the student name, student ID and date.
  3. Answer Key: Choose to include or exclude the answer key in the printout.
