I earned my Ph.D. from the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics at Baylor University. My research focuses on how information technology can democratize access to resources for individuals within organizations and in society at large. I use a variety of research methods, including both quantitative and qualitative approaches, to explore problems that interest me. In teaching, I draw on insights from my research to inform and inspire what I bring into the classroom.
I have published in various outlets, including DATABASE for Advances in Information Systems, AIS Transactions on Replication Research, International Conference in Information Systems (ICIS), and Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS).
