Assistant Professor, Human Resources

Rick Laguerre, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Human Resources (HR) in the College of Business Administration. His research centers on HR policies and practices, with an emphasis on employee motivation, improving the effectiveness of aging employees, uncertainty regulation, and training an age-diverse workforce. His work appears in reputable outlets such as the Journal of Business and Psychology, and Work, Aging and Retirement. Dr. Laguerre serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business and Psychology and is the Chair of the membership committee at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
