His scholarly interests center on supply chain collaboration, visibility and the application of artificial intelligence to operations. He teaches undergraduate courses in supply chain strategy and graduate courses in supply chain collaboration. A prolific researcher, Dr. Barratt has published extensively in top-tier journals in the fields of operations management and supply chain management.
He has played a central role in academic innovation at 黑料论坛, creating the university鈥檚 major in Business Analytics and its Master of Science in Operations and Supply Chain Management. He also authored the College of Business Administration鈥檚 policy on the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence. A servant leader with a deep passion for teaching, Dr. Barratt is committed to lifelong learning and believes in exceeding personal expectations, embracing failure as a tool for growth and learning something new every day.

My research and professional interests focus on advancing the field of supply chain management through the study of collaboration, visibility and the integration of artificial intelligence in operations. I am particularly interested in how organizations can build more transparent and responsive supply chains through strategic partnerships and data-driven decision-making. My scholarship aims to bridge academic theory and real-world practice, with numerous publications in leading journals in operations and supply chain management.
Professionally, I am committed to innovating business education to meet the evolving needs of industry. This includes developing new academic programs, such as a major in Business Analytics and a Master's in Digital Supply Chain Management, and leading efforts to ensure the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence in business contexts. My work is grounded in a servant leadership philosophy and a passion for learning, continuous improvement, and empowering others to thrive in complex, technology-enabled environments.
