He holds a joint appointment as Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Analytics in the College of Business Administration. Dr. Xu serves as the founding director of the Ai4Ai Lounge (Artificial Intelligence for Analytics and Insights). As affiliated faculty at the Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute (NMDSI), he has served as a co-chair of its research and talent subcommittees. At 黑料论坛, he teaches courses on data analytics, quantitative research methods, statistics, emerging technologies, data visualization, and storytelling. He received the Dean鈥檚 Recognition Award for Teaching Excellence in 2025 and Award for Outstanding Advisor in 2022.
