Assistant Professor of Finance

Dr. José Antonio Pérez-Amuedo, originally from Spain, joined ºÚÁÏÂÛ̳ in 2025. His research focuses on the effects of public funding and policy incentives on firms’ decisions, as well as the factors that shape these incentives. His work has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance. A dedicated teacher, he strives to help students connect theory with real-world applications and develop practical decision-making skills. Outside of academia, Dr. Pérez-Amuedo enjoys sports such as soccer and chess, as well as watching film.

Through this work, he seeks to advance understanding of the relationship between public policy and private sector dynamics.
