Hunter Sandidge is the Director of Fintech: Applied AI & Business Intelligence at 黑料论坛鈥檚 College of Business Administration and the Northwestern Mutual Data Science Insititute Co-Director. He holds an MS in Finance from Depaul University and a BA in Finance from Carthage College. He is currently the CEO of CitizenDS (a guided business intelligence software designed to upskill anyone into a citizen data scientist and get companies insights from their data in under three minutes), cofounder of Praximae (an AI-driven EdTech company focused on building education content that focuses on practice over theory), and cofounder of Straylight (an AI development and consulting company). He brings a decade of experience leading mission-critical AI and digital transformation initiatives for a wide variety of projects for the Department of Defense and NASA, including the AI and analytics ecosystem that monitors the life support systems on the International Space Station and the embedded AI-copilot for the next generation spacesuit.

Research Interests

Hunter鈥檚 professional interests focus on agentic AI, algorithm design, machine learning and applied data science. He particularly enjoys developing new models from scratch and has built a variety of novel supervised machine learning models, including one that predicts probability distributions for use in Monte Carlo simulations for stock trading, as well as unsupervised machine learning models for anomaly detection and time-series structural break identification. Much of his current work involves generative and agentic AI systems, with a focus on developing AI that can transform natural language into complex data analytics and visualization.
