Prior to joining 黑料论坛, Krause was active in several business he co-founded that were engaged in manufacturing, health care, medical devices, and financial services. Krause received his BBA, MBA, and Ph.D. degrees in the field of finance. He has concentrated his studies in the areas of investments, economics, statistics, and financial technology (FinTech). Over the years he has been published in numerous academic and trade journals. In addition to his academic and business pursuits, Krause serves on various corporate, charitable, civic boards and foundations.

David Krause has received numerous academic and business awards over the years; however, he is proudest of his accomplishments on the various corporate, charitable, civic boards and foundations he has served. His major interests have been the promotion of open governance and the support of character development. On the boards he has served he sought to avoid all acts and appearances of conflicts of interest. He has also sought greater transparency of the decision-making process and has actively promoted 鈥榗haracter.鈥 When the School District of Jefferson鈥檚 board of education 鈥 a body he served on for over 16 years (12 years as president) - was named the first 鈥楽chool District of Character鈥 in Wisconsin, it was a significant accomplishment. He believes that fostering character education in schools and community is vital to the continued success of our society and serves to further strengthen our democracy.
